Our crab scuttles side to side the way real ones do, lighting up and playing an underwater tune while a stream of bubbles trails behind. It is compact, lightweight and built for kids aged three and up who count how many they can catch.
This was a great present for my 2 yr old nieces birthday. She really likes bubbles and also ocean critters. This little guy moves back and forth (how it dances) like a real crab and she got a kick out of that. It doesn't work that well on grass so you are limited to using it on concrete or cement.
Music, dancing / crawling around, bubbles? What is not to like? He is now a playmate for my great nieces! Perfect for rainy beach vacation days. My advice would be buy one for each. Also have a little screwdriver handy to change the batteries.
If your kids love bubbles, this is the best one!!! I love how it moves around and has a bit of music. I love how it has a built-in sensor where it does not get near tables, shelves, etc. If your little one is afraid of stuff that moves, I would not recommend it.
