Picking
Choosing a bubble toy by age and temperament
The age on the box is the starting line. How a child plays matters just as much.

Two to four: let them push
At this age the fun is in moving. Our Bubble-N-Go Mower is listed for ages 2 to 4 and works only while it rolls, so the child controls the bubbles by walking. There are no batteries and the bubble wheel is built to keep solution off the patio.
Three and up: the squeeze and the chase
From three, hands can manage a squeeze handle. The unicorn and shark blowers open their mouths and play music with every squeeze. If your three-year-old would rather chase than aim, a moving machine like the Dancing Chick or the Dancing Crab keeps them running.
Older kids: aim and volume
Children who can hold a trigger tend to want output. The Bubble Barrage fires thousands per minute after a dip in its tray, and the Light Up Bubble Blaster keeps streaming after one press.
Mixed ages in one yard
Put one machine in the middle and give the youngest a wand. Everybody chases the same cloud and nobody has to share a trigger.
