Maxx Bubbles: we fill the yard, you do the chasing

Blasters, machines, wands and solution by the jug. Everything we make exists for one moment: a kid running flat out after something that pops the second it is caught.

Who is doing the chasing?

Start with the kid, not the toy. Age, patience and how far they like to run decide more than the box does.

Ages 2 to 4, never stands still

Give them something to push. The Bubble-N-Go Mower makes bubbles only while it rolls, with no batteries to change.

Ages 3 and up, wants to be in charge

A bubble blaster puts the stream in their hand. Squeeze handles for small grips, triggers for bigger ones.

Mixed ages, one backyard

Set a bubble machine in the middle and let everybody chase the same cloud.

Twenty guests and counting

Hand out wands at the gate and keep a jug of solution on the porch.

Super fun, tons of bubbles!

Works great! Love that it comes with bubble solution, I didn’t have any issues with spills or leaks at all and the one I got blows tons of bubbles! Nice and lightweight for a toddler, tons of fun to run around with dad in the yard “blowing” leaves. Perfect for Father’s Day!

Good Goody Bag Stuffer

These are great for kids except the wands disconnect from the handles easily and are hard to reattach. But we bought a bulk buy of them to give out to my kids’ classmates and they were reasonably priced and are big so they get a lot of bubbles.

Lots of bubbles

Cute bubble torch with music. Torch was easy to put together. We did have some issues with it wanting to fall over, even with the steak. It put out so many bubbles! It only lasted about 5 minutes and we had to fill it up again. The music was a good touch and made it seem more fun. Overall the kids loved it.

It's very cute, simple, and easy to use....

I actually bought this for my dog. She loves to chase bubbles. It's working just fine and it is very simple. The extra flowers and leaf stems are bubble wands, so, makes for a fun activity. The only thing I do not like is the fact that a strong gush of wind knocks it right over. But it's a great price for the cute machine.

Asked before the first bubble

The questions that come up at the hose, answered plainly.

Are Maxx Bubbles non-toxic?

Yes. Our listings describe the solution as non-toxic. The ready-to-use bottles are made with purified micro-filtered water and contain no phthalates. The solution is not for consumption.

Does the Light Up Bubble Blaster come with batteries?

No. It requires 4 AA batteries, which are not included. It does light up and it runs continuously after one press of the trigger.

Can I use Maxx Bubbles concentrate in any bubble machine?

Our 32 oz concentrate is designed for bubble machines, wands, blasters and giant bubble makers. Mix 1 cup with 9 cups of water for regular use.

How long does the rechargeable party bubble machine run?

Up to 45 minutes of bubbles on a single charge, according to the listing. The tank holds 16 ounces and can be refilled while you go.

Which Maxx Bubbles toy is right for a two-year-old?

The Bubble-N-Go Mower is the one listed for ages 2 to 4. It needs no batteries and makes bubbles only while it is being pushed.

How many bubble wands come in a pack?

Our 14.6 inch wands come in packs of 6 and 24, and by the case of 12 six-packs. Mini wands with star tops come 40 to a pack.

A parent's guide to Maxx Bubbles: which bubble toy, how much solution, what batteries

We get the same handful of questions every spring. Here they are in one place, with the numbers taken straight from our own listings.

What is the difference between a bubble machine and a bubble gun?

A bubble machine runs by itself once it is switched on, so it suits groups and younger children who mostly chase. A bubble gun or blaster is held and aimed by the child. Our Light Up Bubble Blaster sits in between: one press of the trigger starts a continuous stream and a second press stops it.

Which Maxx Bubbles toys need batteries?

Handheld blasters use standard cells that are not included: the Light Up Bubble Blaster takes 4 AA, the unicorn and shark blowers take 4 AAA, the mini fruit blower takes 3 AA. Each flower in the six-pack takes 3 AA. The Tiki Torch Bubbler and the portable party machine carry a built-in 1200mAh rechargeable battery. Wands, bottles, the bucket and the Bubble-N-Go Mower need no power at all.

How much bubble solution do we need?

Most of our toys ship with a 4 ounce bottle, which covers a first session. A machine at a party will want more: the rechargeable party machine has a 16 ounce tank on its own. For regular use, our 32 oz concentrate mixes 1 cup to 9 cups of water and yields up to 2.5 gallons; use 1 cup to 3 cups for giant bubbles.

What age are Maxx Bubbles toys for?

Our listings give ages 3 and up for the blasters, machines, wands and solution. The Bubble-N-Go Mower is listed for ages 2 to 4. Solution is non-toxic but not for consumption, so little ones need an adult nearby.

Why did the bubbles stop coming out?

Three things solve most cases. Prime it: the leaf blower needs about 30 seconds pointed upward before the stream starts. Refill it: a 4 ounce bottle goes quickly on a hot day. Check the power: fresh batteries or a full charge, since the party machine runs up to 45 minutes per charge.

What should we buy for a birthday party?

Work from the guest list. For favors, our 14.6 inch wands come in packs of 6 and 24, and the mini wands come 40 to a pack. For atmosphere, one machine in the middle of the yard does more than ten bottles. For a late party, pick a model with lights.

Before you order: a 60-second check

  • Read the battery line on the listing and add the cells to your list; they are not in the box.
  • Count guests for wands and add two spares.
  • Add a refill if the party lasts longer than the first 4 ounces.
  • Note random styles: the Light Up Blaster and the mini fruit blower ship one color or fruit at random.
  • Plan a flat spot outdoors for walking toys such as the crab and the dino.
