Mixing bubble concentrate: the two ratios worth remembering
A jug of concentrate looks small next to a row of ready-made bottles. It is not. Here is how we mix ours at home.

The regular mix: 1 to 9
Pour 1 cup of concentrate into a clean jug and add 9 cups of water. Stir slowly; shaking makes foam, and foam is bubbles you will never get to chase. This is the mix for machines, blasters and ordinary wands.
The giant mix: 1 to 3
For giant bubble makers, use 1 cup of concentrate to 3 cups of water. The thicker solution stretches further before it breaks, which is what a big wand needs.
How far one jug goes
Our 32 ounce jug makes up to 2.5 gallons of regular solution or 1.5 gallons of giant mix. For scale: most of our toys ship with a 4 ounce bottle, so a single jug of regular mix equals dozens of those.
Storing what is left
Keep mixed solution in a closed container out of the sun, and label it. The concentrate is dye free and non-toxic, but it is not for consumption, so store it where small children cannot reach it.
